Difference Between the Worcester Greenstar 4000 30kW and the Worcester Greenstar 4000 25kW?

The main difference between the Worcester Greenstar 4000 30kW and the Worcester Greenstar 4000 25kW lies in their power output: This difference affects several aspects of the boilers’ performance:

  • Heating Capacity: The 30kW model is capable of heating a larger space compared to the 25kW model. It’s more suitable for larger homes with higher heating demands.
  • Hot Water Performance: The higher kW rating typically translates to a better hot water flow rate. The 30kW model would likely provide hot water at a faster rate than the 25kW model, making it more suitable for homes with higher hot water usage or multiple bathrooms.
  • Energy Efficiency: While both models are designed to be energy-efficient, the choice between them should be based on the size of your home and your heating requirements. A boiler that’s too powerful for your needs can result in energy wastage, while one that’s underpowered may not adequately heat your home.

Other than the difference in their power output, the 25kW and 30kW versions of the Worcester Greenstar 4000 series are similar in terms of features, efficiency, design, and technology.
